Origin Of Triton Cockatoos

Triton Cockatoos, scientifically known as Cacatua galerita triton, are native to the island of New Britain in Papua New Guinea. They are also found on nearby islands such as New Ireland and Bougainville. These beautiful birds inhabit tropical rainforests, wooded areas, and savannas where they feed on seeds, fruits, nuts, and insects.
